The artistic and photographic work on this website reflects my passion for the natural history of the British Isles, and, indeed, the wider world. In my lifetime I have seen a marked decline in the distribution and population of many birds, as well as some mammals, flowers, butterflies and dragonflies. A few have increased, with some extending their range northwards in response to the warming climate. What drives me is to understand, record and photograph as many of these species as possible.
